Indiana Republicans are wasting their energy battling President Donald Trump, and their own governor, over redistricting. You’d be forgiven for thinking the GOP is allergic to winning.
At present, Indiana’s congressional map gives the GOP seven seats to Democrats’ two seats. The re-drawn map could deliver a full 9 seats to Republicans — if it can pass the state Senate. State Senate President Pro Tempore Rodric Bray is skeptical, despite the GOP enjoying a Senate majority.
