President Donald Trump announced Thursday there will be an executive order relating to the deportation of longtime illegal immigrant farm and hotel workers, saying his “very aggressive policy on immigration” is negatively affecting farmers.
Trump said in a statement on Truth Social that the focus of deportation should be to “get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA” and not to deport “very good, long time workers” whose jobs are “almost impossible to replace.”
Trump added that such vacuums in labor are being filled by criminals who entered the country during the Biden administration.
“This is not good. We must protect our Farmers,” Trump’s statement said.
The president ended the post by promising that “Changes are coming!”
He explained what that meant while taking questions during a bill-signing ceremony Thursday that ended California’s electric vehicle mandate. (RELATED: Trump Drives Dagger Through Heart Of Dems’ EV Mandate)
“We’re going to have an order on that pretty soon,” Trump said, emphasizing the need for “common sense.”
Trump said immigration enforcement should focus on criminals, not workers who have “been there for 20–25 years.” He also pointed to the leisure industry.
Trump says farmers are “being hurt badly” by deportations. “You go into a farm and you look and people, they’ve been there for 20 or 25 years and worked great and the owner of the farm loves them and you’re supposed to throw them out?”

In another statement Thursday, Trump asserted his “Historic Mandate for the largest Mass Deportation Program in American History.”
He referenced a “tsunami of Illegals,” many of whom he described as “Rapists, Murderers, and Terrorists” who “have stolen American Jobs, consumed BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in Free Welfare, and turned once idyllic Communities, like Springfield, Ohio, into Third World Nightmares.”
“Anyone who assaults or attacks an ICE or Border Agent will do a hard time in jail,” he concluded, likely referring to the protests-turned-riots that began in Los Angeles, California, and have since spread nationwide.
Trump’s focus on targeting those who do not contribute positively to the U.S. economy is consistent with the rollout of his $5 million Trump Visa Cards, which opened its website Wednesday evening.
Trump said on Truth Social that over 15,000 potential immigrants have already placed themselves on the waitlist, which he claimed would raise “75 Billion Dollars to help balance our Budget, and strengthen America.”
“The opportunity to live in the Greatest Country, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, with the largest Economy in the World, is here,” Trump said.
