The year is 2025, and it’s time to Make America Healthy Again.
In an effort to combat rising health epidemics among America’s youth, the Trump administration is preparing to reinstate the Presidential Fitness Test in public schools.
The Executive Order will establish a President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition that will reward school programs focusing on physical education.
Pro-golfer Bryson DeChambeau will chair the council and will be hosted by Trump at the White House on Thursday, along with other athletes.

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor, retired champion golfer Annika Sorenstam, and Paul “Triple H” Levesque of World Wrestling Entertainment are also expected to be at Thursday’s event in support of the Executive Order.
The Presidential Fitness Test was first created in 1966 and was used in public middle and high schools before it was replaced in 2013 with the Presidential Youth Fitness Program, “which emphasized living an active and healthy lifestyle,” the Hill reported.
President Trump’s move garnered a lot of support from X users:
Trump reviving the Presidential Fitness Test is peak America First, accountability, strength, and no more participation trophies. Time to trade in TikTok scrolls for pull-ups and mile runs. Bringing in Butker and Taylor sends a message: real men lead by example.

Praise God! This has to happen! We did this when I was in school. There were very little overweight kids in school during the 60’s and 70’s. We had PE every day.
Kids weren’t sick with all these diseases they have today either.

The Presidential Fitness Test was never just about sit-ups.
It was a message: “You are a citizen of a strong nation. Act like it.”
Bringing it back means reminding kids—your body isn’t the government’s property.
But it is your responsibility.

Discipline, strength, pride. Trump’s bringing it back. Fitness isn’t optional when you’re building strong Americans.
