TX GOP House candidate takes flamethrower to Quran in fiery ad

A firebrand Republican candidate known for her incendiary remarks took her reputation literally as she made a religious tome into a briquette in a bid to win over Texans.

After having come in sixth place in the 2024 Republican Primary for Missouri’s secretary of state, Colombian-born Valentina Gomez remained undeterred in her effort to hold elected office. Now, having relocated to the Lone Star State with her sights set on Washington, D.C., the congressional hopeful’s newest ad vowed to “end islam in Texas” as she took a flamethrower to a Quran.

“Your daughters will be raped and your sons beheaded unless we stop Islam once and for all,” said Gomez as background music repeated “Hallelujah” and she took aim at a copy of the Quran propped up on a stack of stones under the caption, “I will end islam in Texas so help me God. muslims are raping & killing their way to take over CHRISTIAN nations. Help me get to Congress so you never have to bow down to their stupid rock.”

With flames flickering off the text behind her between bouts of further soaking it in accelerant, Gomez continued, “We’re done turning the other cheek. Remember, David didn’t pray for Goliath. He killed him. America is a Christian nation. So those terrorist Muslims can f*ck off to any of the 57 Muslim nations.”

“There is only one true God, and that is the God of Israel,” the candidate declared before the branding for her campaign was displayed, replacing the “i” in her name with a bullet and describing her as “Powered By Jesus Christ.”

The video, which managed to accrue nearly 3 million views since Monday afternoon, was not Gomez’s first declaration of war against Muslims in Texas as she’d previously crashed an event at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, shedding a hijab before taking the mike to assert, “Islam is the religion of rape, incest and pedophilia where they bow down to a stupid rock and a false prophet. I will never let Sharia law take over Texas.”

Likewise, amid her bid for the Missouri State Department, Gomez took a different flamethrower to LGBTQ-themed books, insisting she would “BURN all books that are grooming, indoctrinating, and sexualizing our children,” before later going on to share her message, “In America, you can be anything you want, so don’t be weak and gay. Stay f*cking hard.”

The fiery political hopeful was seeking a path to victory in Texas Congressional District 31, currently held by incumbent John Carter, who won his 2024 primary with more than 65% support. At a time when investigations are looking into the legality of Islamic community-centered residential developments in the state, Gomez’s message appeared to resonate with a considerable number of users on social media, especially those who questioned political correctness across the pond.
