Latest Home Office stats reveal a staggering 11,074 migrants have cross the Channel so far this year after 767 more arrived on Monday and Wednesday alone. That’s after the milestone of 10,000 was hit earlier this week, more than a 40% increase on the same period last year…

Last year it took 14 days to go from 10,000 to 11,000 (May 25 to June 7). This year, just four days.
