Ukrainian Beauty Queen Mariia Zheliaskova Takes A Tumble On Miss Earth 2025 Stage

Ukrainian beauty queen Mariia Zheliaskova slipped and fell to the floor Wednesday during the Miss Earth 2025 pageant.

The 24-year-old contestant stepped out in a shimmering silver gown with a high slit and matching stilettos as she made her way toward the judges. (RELATED: Miss Universe Contestants Walk Out After Executive Nawat Itsaragrisil Allegedly Berates Beauty Queen)

“She’s not just turning heads on the runway, she’s also raising funds for the military,” the announcer said as she descended the stage stairs. After a brief pose for photographers, she pivoted — then suddenly lost her balance and went down in front of the audience.

Zheliaskova bounced back instantly — fast enough that anyone who looked away might have missed the spill. She popped to her feet and kept moving, smiling as she glided across the stage and slipped right back into her routine.

Natalie Puskinova of the Czech Republic took the Miss Earth 2025 crown, receiving the title from last year’s winner, Australia’s Jessica Lane, during the pageant’s 25th anniversary in the Philippines.

And it wasn’t the only beauty queen making waves.

At a Miss Universe pre-pageant event in Thailand on Wednesday, organizer Nawat Itsaragrisil drew heavy backlash after allegedly calling Miss Mexico, Fátima Bosch, a “dumbhead” during a dispute over her absence from promotional events.

A video of the exchange spread quickly online, showing several contestants standing up and walking out of the ceremony in a show of support for Bosch.
