Umm … Why Does Top-5 Ole Miss Have Embarrassing Amount Of Fans?

What on earth are we doing, Oxford?!

So, when you’re on the conversation of an undefeated college football powerhouse ranked in the top five, and they also happen to be in a Power 4 conference (particularly in the SEC), you usually think of them filling up the seats when they play at home. You imagine a chaotic and intense environment that fills our hearts as fans.

You think of LSU at their iconic Death Valley, Alabama in Tuscaloosa, over 100,000 lunatics in Columbus rooting for Ohio State, hell, even the city of Miami has been showing up for my Hurricanes this season. But none of that happened Saturday for the No. 4 Ole Miss Rebels as they faced off against Washington State. When you examine Vaught Hemingway Stadium, it was half empty, and quite frankly, it’s embarrassing for a program in their standing.

I’m sorry, but this should not be the case with a top-five college football program … completely and utterly embarrassing.
