And this is why Cleveland just needs to let Shedeur cook.
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski took responsibility for the failed 2-point conversion attempt that sealed his team’s 31-29 defeat against the Tennessee Titans, but declined to elaborate on what went wrong Sunday — especially notable since rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders remained on the sideline for the play.
Down 31-17 with six minutes remaining, Sanders sparked a furious Browns comeback with two touchdown drives. The former Colorado Buffalo capped the first with a 7-yard run, but the ensuing 2-point conversion failed when he fumbled the snap from center. With 1:03 left to go, Sanders found rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. for a 7-yard touchdown, but on the critical 2-point try, Cleveland sidelined their quarterback, turning instead to a Wildcat package that ultimately failed.
On the play, rookie running back Quinshon Judkins took the direct snap and went right, but didn’t handle the ball properly as rookie wideout Gage Larvadain crossed the formation on a reverse. (Holy cow, there’s a lot of rookies) Judkins rolled back and heaved a desperation pass across the gridiron to Larvadain, but the ball sailed incomplete.
It was an utter disaster by Kevin Stefanski and the Cleveland Browns.
WATCH:
The #Browns just had a really ugly attempt at a 2-pt conversion and the tie.

The type of plays to get a coach fired … I’d watch that if I were you, Kev.
