Fashion brand Versace may be walking in Bud Light’s unfortunate footsteps after controversial transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney promoted their clothing.
Video of Mulvaney donning a Versace dress is leaving many wondering how women are supposed to picture themselves in a dress being modeled by a biological male. Others still are asking why the fashion brand selected Mulvaney after seeing the public relations disaster of Bud Light.
Watch:
Prior to the video, Mulvaney posted a “family photo” collage featuring Versace:
X users had lots to say about the apparent partnership between Mulvaney and Versace:
I guess Versace wasn’t paying attention to the Bud Light collapse…

Because nothing says “boost sales” like alienating your actual customers. Another brand learning the Bud Light lesson the hard way.

Why tf would women want to see clothes aimed at them modeled on a man? Narrower hips, broader shoulders, etc – I want to see what the clothes look like on a woman.

So, instead of finding a smoking hot woman to partner with, Versace opted for a male LARPing as a female.
I have to surmise that Versace is not interested in my business in any manner, then.

I think they will find the Trans market much smaller than the market they just marginalized. Someone ask Donatella if she got the Bud Light memo.

He’s the perfect representation for liberal elites that can afford Versace. They hate women
