‘Wait A Minute!’: Harris Faulkner Smacks Down Dem Panelist Who Claims ICE Isn’t Going After ‘Worst Of The Worst’

Fox News host Harris Faulkner called out Democratic strategist Leslie Marshall Thursday after Marshall said agents from United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were not targeting gang members.

Rioting spread to multiple cities after initially flaring up in Los Angeles following an ICE operation, with some Democrats demanding that the agency cease its operations in the Los Angeles area as a way to “restore order” in the city. Marshall implied ICE was only going after restaurant workers and people at Home Depot before Faulkner spoke up. “Yesterday at my post office, we had ICE in the parking lot, my post office is ground central for everyone that lost their home or their home is damaged like mine in the canyon fires,” Marshall claimed. “These people are traumatized. We don’t know if they’re ICE. They refuse to give their names and badge numbers.”

“What we’re upset about, we don’t have ICE going after the gangs. They know where they are,” Marshall continued. “These gangs, they’re not washing dishes. They’re not at Home Depot. They’re certainly not the mother breast feeding the baby, the cancer victim and certainly not in the elementary schools or graduations. Those are the people –”

President Donald Trump issued several executive orders to address illegal immigration and border security, including designating Mexican drug cartels, the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) and the El Salvadoran prison gang MS-13 as foreign terrorist organizations upon taking office Jan. 20. Faulkner took issue with Marshall’s comments, interrupting her.

“Wait a minute, wait a minute,” Faulkner said. “You live in a sanctuary state, okay? So if ICE goes after the gangs, the LAPD has been told to back off, don’t help ICE.”

“I’m sorry, there’s video everywhere with LAPD assisting ICE in Los Angeles. There’s video yesterday morning of that. There’s real-time live stream, tape. You can Google it. I’m sorry. What we want is the worst of the worst,” Marshall responded, prompting Faulkner to fire back with, “You better get rid of that sanctuary state governor you have going on.” (RELATED: ‘Wait! Wait! California became a sanctuary state in 2018, which prevents police from asking people about their immigration status or from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement efforts.

“Where is the protesting to support the LAPD? Where’s the protesting to call and thank the ICE agents who get the bad guys, the worst of the worst? Where is that?” Faulkner asked.

Among illegal immigrants arrested by ICE in recent raids were people convicted of drug trafficking, sex crimes against children, homicide, domestic violence and burglary.
