War of words between Tucker Carlson and Mark Levin goes nuclear

Fox News host Mark Levin went off on former network colleague Tucker Carlson, the latest exchange in a public feud between the two that has now gone nuclear.

The former Justice Department official and bestselling author took exception with a lengthy Carlson X post that accused him of being a warmongering chickenhawk who’s been lobbying the Trump administration to attack Iran and said he recently paid a visit to the White House to present his case.

“Mark Levin was at the White House today, lobbying for war with Iran. To be clear, Levin has no plans to fight in this or any other war. He’s demanding that American troops do it. We need to stop Iran from building nuclear weapons, he and likeminded ideologues in Washington are now arguing. They’re just weeks away,” Carlson wrote on Wednesday, accusing the host of lying about Iran’s nukes.

“So why is Mark Levin once again hyperventilating about weapons of mass destruction? To distract you from the real goal, which is regime change — young Americans heading back to the Middle East to topple yet another government. Virtually no one will say this out loud. America’s record of overthrowing foreign leaders is so embarrassingly counterproductive that regime change has become a synonym for disaster,” Carlson added.

The hot-tempered Levin fired back on X, branding Carlson a “loathsome ass” who is loved by the enemies of America.

“He burps again,” the host wrote. “Yes, I know … Carlson has become a loathsome ass who is increasingly unhinged and pathetic. Our nation’s enemies love him, as do certain vile and weird conspiracy theorists he promotes. I will address him, again, and his barely literate and utterly incoherent social media ramblings on radio tonight. But the good news is, the more he talks and writes, the less relevant and more poisonous he becomes.”

“The one thing that people like Mark Levin don’t want is a peaceful solution to the problem of Iran, despite the obvious benefits to the United States. They denounce anyone who advocates for a deal as a traitor and a bigot. They tell us with a straight face that Long Island native Steve Witkoff is a secret tool of Islamic monarchies. They’ll say or do whatever it takes. They have no limits. These are scary people. Pray that Donald Trump ignores them,” Carlson also said in his post.

The feud escalated last month when Levin appeared to accuse Witkoff, President Trump’s Special Envoy for the Middle East who is Jewish, of being an anti-Semite for using the term neocon to describe the warmongers.

Carlson reacted on an episode of his podcast by saying that while he’s always gotten along with Levin, his remarks were “peak crazy” when it came to Witkoff.

“The neocon element believes that war is the only way to solve things, so you have Mark Levin calling Steve Witkoff an anti-Semite,” he said. “We’ve reached peak crazy, I mean, I think Witkoff is Jewish, right?”

“Don’t screw with me, you little bastard,” Levin warned on his radio show after Carlson’s remarks.
