Watch As LA Rioter Is Introduced To Pavement By Homeland Security

Fox News showed Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) personnel taking down a rioter in Los Angeles Monday night as riots continued in the wake of a raid by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

President Donald Trump ordered the National Guard to deploy Saturday as riots continued in Los Angeles following a raid by ICE at a Los Angeles-area Home Depot. “It appears to be California National Guard. Ooh, they are taking somebody down right now. I don’t know who those guys are, what they did. Is that California National? If it says ERO on their back, that would be ICE. That stands for Enforcement and Removal Operation,” Melugin told “Fox News at Night” host Trace Gallagher. “I can’t tell. It’s some sort of law enforcement, and they clearly did not like what the guy in the yellow was doing right there because they ran right at him, and they took him down. So we will ask, and we will see if we can find out what that guy did. It looks like he was loitering near a vehicle.”

“Looks like a firework just got thrown in. You are seeing multiple fireworks coming into that frame, and that is what we were dealing with 30 minutes ago while we were live on ‘Hannity.’ We had  fireworks being thrown in our direction, in LAPD’s direction,” Melugin said. “So this crowd is getting a little bit more feisty tonight, and you mentioned it right off the top. That is exactly what happens out here when the sun starts going down. I think there might actually be feds, based off some of the patches I’m seeing. They look like DHS guys to me. Police, HSI, so that is Homeland Security Investigations.”

Trump ordered 700 Marines to back up the National Guard deployment Monday as the riots continued. Video posted to social media Saturday showed an individual wearing a motorcycle helmet throwing rocks at the windshields of vehicles containing ICE agents with the FBI offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to that person’s arrest.

Melugin posted video showing the perspective from inside one of the vehicles being hit with rocks Saturday. Melugin also posted additional video and photos of the aftermath of the incident, including a photo of an injury suffered by one federal law enforcement officer while the video showed a windshield with significant damage after a rioter threw a rock at it.

HSI is a branch of ICE that probes “the illegal movement of people, goods, money, contraband, weapons and sensitive technology into, out of and through the United States,” according to the ICE website.
