A New Jersey family’s Thanksgiving dinner took a chaotic turn when their fully loaded table collapsed, sending the holiday feast crashing to the floor.
A jaw-dropping video published on social media captured the wacky moment that took place Thanksgiving Day. (RELATED: Thanksgiving Is Dying, One Turkey-Free Dinner At A Time)
“We were filming our pre-Thanksgiving speech by one of our little cousins and right as she finished, the table broke and all the food fell to the ground,” Kat Hovnanian, who captured the footage, said, per ABC7 Chicago.
“Auntie Siran spent weeks preparing and cooking but she was an absolute champ about it,” said Hovnanian. “We are an Armenian family of about 150 people. We picked whatever we could off the floor – there was enough but most of it was destroyed.”
“There was too much weight at the front of the table because of all the food,” explained Hovnanian, per the outlet. “What an Armenian Thanksgiving with too much food!”

I don’t know about y’all, but I had a fantastic Thanksgiving.
Things went perfectly for me, exactly how I wanted it. I woke up and watched the Macy’s Parade with the kids, watched a little bit of the National Dog Show, and then when the NFL got started up, that’s when I hopped into that fun. And that gratefully came along with a few cashes with my bets for quite the profitable day.
After the feast, which came along with me eating an incredible amount of stuffing, I took a nice fat nap to sleep off the itis, and then when I woke up, it was time for an airing of “The Wizard of Oz” and storm chasing on the side. That pretty much carried me over until the Black Friday festivities the next day.
Aces Thanksgiving if I do say so myself.
