‘Why is Pete Buttigieg turning into Jimmy Kimmel?’ The ‘beard memo’ and Dems’ DNA

CNN contributor Scott Jennings called out former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and his apparent makeover.

Jennings reacted to Buttigieg’s transformation into a Jimmy Kimmel look-alike during a CNN panel discussion that also had him blasting the “core DNA of the Democratic Party” and its defense of criminal illegal aliens.

With speculation brewing that Buttigieg is mounting a 2028 bid for the White House, the Democrat was seen in a clip during a town hall in Iowa, but he told reporters he has no campaign plans as yet.

“Right now I’m not running for anything,” Buttigieg said. “Part of what’s exciting and compelling about an opportunity like this is to be campaigning for values and ideas rather than a specific electoral campaign. So that’s what I’m about but of course it means a lot to hear that the people who supported me then continue to believe in what I have to say.”

Jennings could not help but marvel at the former South Bend, Indiana, mayor’s physical appearance.

“You look at that video and tell me that doesn’t look like Jimmy Kimmel,” the conservative commentator said.

In later comments, Jennings pointed to Democrats turning their backs on American constituents in their fervor to defend those in the country illegally.

“This idea that you’re going to be able to escape the core DNA of the Democratic Party, which is to do more for illegal aliens than American citizens, is folly,” he told fellow panelists. “It’s not going to work because the energy – look at the energy being expended to try to bring illegal aliens back into this country, versus any energy being expended on behalf of anything that the American people want to do is crazy!”
