Wisconsin teen killed parents to further Trump assassination plot, feds say

A Wisconsin teenager charged with killing his parents is accused of doing so in order to “obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary” to assassinate President Trump and overthrow the government, according to federal court documents unsealed Friday.

An FBI warrant said Nikita Casap, 17, also obtained a drone and explosives “to be used as a weapon of mass destruction” in an attack. Prosecutors said an antisemitic manifesto linked to the boy revealed the assassination plot and plans for anarchy were being orchestrated to “save the white race.”

Authorities in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, charged Mr. Casap with first-degree murder, theft and other charges last month after he was arrested in connection to the deaths of Tatiana Casap and Donald Mayer, his mother and stepfather.

Police said the boy gunned down his parents inside their Milwaukee-area home in February and lived with their decomposing bodies for weeks. He was arrested last month in Kansas after fleeing the house with $14,000, passports and the family’s dog.    

Mr. Casap is currently being held in Waukesha County jail. He is scheduled to return to state court next month in the double killing.

The federal charges include attempting to kill the president, use of weapons of mass destruction and conspiracy.

Wisconsin authorities said they found material on the boy’s phone that tied him to a Nazi-aligned extremist group called “The Order of Nine Angles.”

Federal court documents said Mr. Casap shared his revolutionary plot with a person who speaks Russian and discussed running away to Ukraine.
