Woman who boasted about lying to get food stamps complains she’s been cut off, now owes $35K

An over-sized black woman posted a video online boasting about getting food stamps, suggesting to others that they “better start lying” if they want to get their share of the taxpayer fraud.

It’s not clear who the tatted-up woman is, where she lives, or even if the story is true, but it’s getting a lot of attention — especially after she posted a follow-up video.

In the follow-up clip, the woman is looking less glamorous and her attitude has been checked somewhat as she claims that “they turned my food stamps off and I gotta pay back $35,000.”

“Now I’m f*cking aggravated because how do ya’ll know I wasn’t playing? Ya’ll just running with sh*t,” she complained. “But them motherf*ckers really turned off my godd*mned food stamps and I have to pay them back $35,000.”

Note that she always refers to the taxpayer-provided assistance as “my food stamps.”

Of course, whoever “they” are, we have to presume that they didn’t “turn off” the woman’s food stamps based on online chatter, or that they didn’t assign restitution based on lawful actions.

Social media users were quick to celebrate what they hope is a rare case of real social justice in America. Then again, the reaction to Elon Musk’s DOGE efforts suggests that uncovering fraud and waste within the federal government may have a limited shelf life for some.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
