Young Men Are Turning Against Destructive Addiction That’s Ruining Their Lives

Young men may be finally turning against a destructive addiction that is ruining their lives.

The prevalence and accessibility of online porn is one of the worst aspects of modern society. It’s literally everywhere on the internet  — not just on porn sites and OnlyFans. Kids can find it on Instagram and X. This is not the era of swiping your Uncle Jim’s Playboy magazine out from under the bed. (RELATED: 100 Men Who Should’ve Just Said No To OnlyFans Porn Star)

Porn is addictive and soul-crushing. It saps men of their agency and turns them into lards who would rather spend nights glued to a phone screen than talking to girls at the bar or finding a girlfriend or wife. And if they are in a relationship but addicted to porn, it slowly but surely destroys the bond with their significant other.

That being said, there is some hope for future generations.

According to a fascinating new survey, a growing number of young men between the ages of 18-24 support increased restrictions on porn. Sixty-five percent of this demographic believes that access to online porn should be more difficult. Among men aged 25-34, 50% believe there should be more restrictions.

Middle-aged men are more split on their attitudes, but the vast majority of older men, over the age of 55, believe there should be restrictions.

Of course, nearly all women, in all age groups, believe there should be more porn restrictions — a no-brainer. But the fact that young men support it in high numbers is a telling, hopeful sign. The kids may actually be alright.

They know how destructive it is. They know that, despite claims from liberals, weird health teachers, and kooky college professors, watching porn is actually terrible for your physical and mental health. They know it’s immoral.

If it were up to me, I would nuke the porn industry off the face of the earth. Complete and total shutdown. Bans all around. Alas, that is impossible, but stronger restrictions would be a good start.
