Amputee Murder Suspect Dayton James Webber Seemingly Fires Rifle, Snorts Substance In Wild Video

A wild video appeared to show quadruple amputee and murder suspect Dayton James Webber snorting a substance off a bill before firing a rifle out his window.

Webber did a handstand while someone off camera brought him something to sniff off a dollar bill, according to a video recorded July 2025 in La Plata, Maryland, and obtained by TMZ A few seconds into the footage, he appeared to move toward an open window, pick up a semiautomatic rifle and confidently unload a couple shots. The odd sequence of events was circulated online and shared by the outlet.

Webber, 27, is accused of shooting 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells on March 22 in the midst of an argument inside a vehicle.

Webber allegedly placed Wells’ body in a yard in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, according to TMZ. Law enforcement officials tracked him down in Virginia and arrested him for first-degree murder and second-degree murder, among other charges.

The content in the video was unexpected and shocking to many, but Webbers attorneys, Andrew Jezic and David Moyse, told TMZ that it has no bearing on his case. “The video changes nothing. Dayton is 100 percent Not Guilty, and did what he had to do to not be killed,” they said in a statement.

Webber’s legal team are claiming he shot Wells in the head two times in what they described as an act of self defense, according to TMZ.

Shortly after his arrest, Webber’s ex-girlfriend claimed she was not surprised to hear of his arrest, and told the outlet she is aware that he has an “angry dark side.”

Webber is set to appear before a judge May 6. He remains in police custody without bail.
