The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) unveiled its initial slate of “Red to Blue” endorsements, which immediately sparked a civil war within the party.
The DCCC’s endorsements are intended to spotlight top-tier Democratic challengers in Republican-held House districts. However, the party’s choice of candidates ignited a firestorm of backlash from Democratic primary challengers who were spurned. While this is entertaining for the right, more importantly, it’s a glaring symptom of a growing Democrat dysfunction that could potentially hand the GOP the momentum needed to gain in the 2026 midterms.
