Yeeeaaahhh … no way in hell Giannis is in Milwaukee next season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, the superstar forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, clearly isn’t getting along with the franchise anytime soon. Just take the latest case, for example, as the “Greek Freak” is irked at the team for sidelining him when he wanted to play to close out the campaign.
During the last two seasons, Antetokounmpo has had an up-and-down vibe in Milwaukee as a result of trade rumors and how he’s been managed over concerns related to injuries. After suffering a left knee hyperextension and bone bruise, the Bucks stated that he wasn’t cleared to compete. His injuries came Mar. 15 after an awkward fall following a dunk.
Since that time, Antetokounmpo hasn’t been in a game, and while he sat on the bench, the team compiled a 4-11 record. Milwaukee lost Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers to close out the season. “Being cleared to play, I don’t understand. I’ve never in my life denied participation in practice,” said Antetokounmpo, per Fox News. “Whoever came up with that is disrespectful towards what I’ve done for this team and the way I carry myself.
“I did what I was supposed to do. I wasn’t able to come on the court now. Who has that say? It comes from above. I thought I had control. OK, if I’m healthy, I’m going to play. This just shows me that not just me, players in general, don’t have no control. No, I didn’t feel like I had control.”
While Antetokounmpo was warming up, he didn’t appear to be injured.
“It was draining for me, for sure,” said Antetokounmpo. “If it was draining for me, it was definitely draining for me and the organization.”
With Giannis’ status up in the air, word around the league is Milwaukee is not a fun place at the moment 😳

Milwaukee could possibly trade Antetokounmpo when we get to the offseason, or potentially work out a contract extension for a total of four years worth $275 million, but at this pace, the latter isn’t even a thing to me.
